Bad Christian

So I have been listening to this thing called the badchristian podcasts. What is this badchristian podcasts you ask? Well it is a group of guys from the band Emery they get together each week and just talk. They talk about real stuff in their lives. They also get the chance to interview some really cool people like Lecrae. Before you listen to this though let me add that they do cuss! If you are in any way offended by that then don't listen! They will also talk about touchy subjects that many Christians don't want to talk about such as porn. If you feel uncomfortable with that thought don't listen! Anyway I enjoy this. It sparks conversation and some of the stuff is definitely thought provoking. It is encouraging to me to want to open up with people and be honest with them. Although I may not agree with everything they say or do I commend them on the fact that they are so brutally honest. They don't care about looking bad. Once you start to open up to people more doors open. Anyway I am not an expert at this at all but I just thought I would share!






Partly off subject of this Jordan and I have both been trying to even be more real and open with each other. We have learned so much from each other and in a way it is very freeing to be able to talk to someone and bare your soul. We know each other's weaknesses and what our struggles are. As soon as one person starts sharing it paves the way for more. I know I need to start doing this with other relationships and just in general be transparent.

Engaged!

Hello everyone,
I'm Hannah, I am a 20 year old Junior in college. I am currently enrolled at The College at Brockport studying Health Science. I recently got engaged to the love of my life, Jordan O'Connor. Before we became engaged we had been dating for 4 years. We just booked our venue and I am excited to share some of our experiences. Jordan is currently enrolled at Rochester Institute of Technology. He is studying Electrical Engineering and is in his last semester (yay!) He is graduating in December and we are getting married in June. I hope to share some of my wedding planning and then what married life is like. Jordan and I have had our fair amount of obstacles along the way and we are stronger from them. We are learning to be completely open and honest and fall in love more each day (cliche I know but it's true!). My whole life I knew I wanted to marry and start a family. I hope to one day be a stay at home Mom not for a couple years though! I enjoy doing crafts such as crocheting, knitting and sewing as well as anything else I find on pinterest. I hope you have as much fun reading this as I do writing. I forgot to mention above I am no writer but I do my best. You may find a few runon sentences and faulty grammar but hey no one's perfect.
